1) Took up Page 30# 1-5 (page 29), "Associations" (page 31), "Niches in a Food Chain", and "Togetherness Quiz" (page 33)
2) Handed out and went over "Energy Transfer" (page 35) and "Levels of the Energy Pyramid" (page 36)
3) Went over "Food Webs" (page 37) with the students
4) Worked on Checks and Balances

Test# 2 will be Friday, June 6. It will cover pages 23 to 40 in your notes and pages 24 to 42 in your textbook


8-01 Science

1) Handed out and went over "Simple Machines" (page 27), "Levers" (page 28), and "Levers Have Class" (page 29) with the students
2) Handed out "Mechanical Advantage Using a Lever" (page 30) and "Mechanical Advantage of a Lever Using Force" (page 31) and went over with the students
3) Handed out "Lever Questions" (page 32) and did with the students
4) Assigned "More Lever Questions" (page 33)
