7-01 Science

1) Did "The Roles of Producers Assignment" (page 15) and handed in
2) Went over biomes and the biosphere note (page 17) with class
3) Watched video "Biomes of the World"
4) Assigned "Biome Quiz" (page 21)

Homework
1) "Biome Quiz" (page 21) due next class
2) "The Biome Map of Canada" (page 20) is due Wed., Sept. 29 at the latest
3) First Test will be now be Wednesday, October 6. Study pages 12-23 in the textbook and pages 2-21 in your notes!!!

1) Did "Comparing Plant and Animal Cell Assignment" (page 15) and handed in
2) Went over Osmosis and Diffusion and showed some videos demonstrating the process
3) Reviewed project expectations

Homework
Prepare for "The Cell Project" (page 16). Materials must be brought in to build the cells on Wednesday and Thursday this week (Sept. 29 and 30). They only have 2 classes to build their cells and are being marked on their use of class time!!!
