7-01 Science

1) Copied overhead "Level 5 - Biomes" (page 17)
2) Took up "The Roles of Producers Crossword" (page 14)
3) Went over "Level 4 - Ecosystems" (page 16) and "Level 5 - Biomes" (page 17) with class
4) Handed out "The Characteristics of the 4 Main Biomes in Canada" (page 18) and went over with class
5) Handed out "The 4 Main Biomes in Canada Map" (page 19) and reviewed
6) Assigned "The Biome Map of Canada" (page 20) to be done by Wednesday at the latest

Homework
1) "The Biome Map of Canada" (page 20) is due Wed., Sept. 29 at the latest
2) First Test will be Monday, October 4. Study pages 12-23 in the textbook and pages 2-21 in your notes!!!

2) Took up "The Organelles in Cells" (page 13) and "Comparing Plant and Animal Cells Crossword" (page 14)
3) Assigned "The Cell Project" (page 16)

Homework
Prepare for "The Cell Project" (page 16). Materials must be brought in to build the cells on Wednesday and Thursday next week (Sept. 29 and 30). They only have 2 classes to build their cells and are being marked on their use of class time!!!


8-02

1) Took up "Living Things and Cell Theory Crossword" (page 8)
2) Went over parts of the plant and animal cell and had students start filling in pages 10 and 11 in their notes
